Well, the past 2 weeks have been interesting running wise. The first was only half a week and the second wasn't a full week either. But here is what I did.
Monday, January 7th
No run today. I ended up having to decide between core and running. I chose core. pushups- 25x25x20 situps- 30x30x20 lunges/step-ups- 80 leg lifts- 15.
Tuesday, January 8th
Got 4 miles in on the treadmill in 30 minutes.
Wednesday, January 9th
4.5 miles in 30 minutes on the treadmill.
Thursday, January 10th
Nothing as I decided not to make tomorrow's drive more difficult by tiring myself out.
Friday, January 11th
No run. Got 4 hours of sleep and spent most of the day traveling.
Saturday, January 12th
Ran in Lagoon Valley 4 times around the lake. It is somewhere between 2 and 2.5 miles around the lake so somewhere at least 8 miles probably somewhere around 8.5 miles. Didn't have a watch so at least 60 minutes but probably more like 70 minutes.
Monday, January 14th
Didn't get a run in due to traveling all day.
Tuesday, January 15th
Back on the blasted treadmill. Got in 5 miles in 35 minutes during my lunch period again.
Wednesday, January 16th
Got some nice blisters that are turning into callouses on the treadmill going pretty quick on it(as quick as it will go). Ran the first 15 minutes at 6 min/mile pace. The next 10 minutes at about 7 min/mile. Then the last 12:37 at 6 min/mile pace. Ran exactly 6 miles in exactly 37:37.
Thursday, January 17th
Hopped on the bike to let the blisters heal up a little more. Only was on it for 30 minutes but estimate its equality to about 4 miles.
Friday, January 18th
Back on the treadmill for an easier run of 5 miles in 37:30.
Saturday, January 19th
Yay, a road run! Disappeared into the fading sun for about and hour and 45 minutes totaling about 12 miles.
Put in about 17 miles the first week and 32 the second. My feet running in vibrams are getting back to strength and not having to be as tender about them. I'll probably be able to start upping the miles a bit quicker now. But we'll see.
Running Toward God,
Jason
