Monday:
AM - 5 miles easy with my friend Kevin
PM - 1 mile warm-up, 5x1200m w/ 400m recovery at faster than tempo but below threshold, 1 mile cool-down. 7 miles total
Tuesday:
AM - 5 miles easy
PM - 5 miles easy
Wednesday:
AM - 5 miles easy
PM - 8 miles at a good pace with 4 of it at a fast tempo pace
Thursday:
AM - 5 miles easy
PM - Played some ultimate frisbee then went to the track for 5 miles easy, but only got 1.5 miles in before a tendon on my right knee started spazzing out and called it a day.
Friday:
AM - 5 miles easy. That same tendon started complaining a little during the run for a few moments then went away but made me decide to not run in the afternoon.
Saturday:
Today I was planning on putting in about 15-16 miles but only got to about mile 11 or 12 before that tendon made it impossible to continue and I had to walk back to my car. I decided at that point not to run on Monday and give it an extra day to rest and come back on Tuesday and see how it feels.
Total miles for the week: 57-59 miles
